What should I wear?

When choosing an outfit for a photo shoot, keep these three things in mind:

1. Are you comfortable?
You want to look natural in your photos, so avoid wearing anything that will restrict your movement or make you feel uncomfortable.

2. Does it look like you?
Your photos should reflect who you are, so wear something that feels true to your personal style and makes you feel pretty.

3. Does it fit the vibe?
Before your photo shoot, we'll discuss the aesthetic or vibe you want to achieve. Make sure your outfit fits this vibe. For example, if we decide on a pastel theme, avoid wearing black.

If you're still not sure what to wear, bring a few different outfits to the shoot, or contact me for guidance.

Should I ask for extended or shortened time for my Portrait photo session?

To make the most of your session, I recommend planning at least an hour. It's normal to feel a bit camera-shy at first, so it's important to have time to adjust to the feeling of having your picture taken. Headshots might require less time than creative portraits, and groups might need more time than solo sessions. Feel free to contact me for a recommendation on your specific situation.

Where are you located?

E.L.N. Photography is based in the beautiful city of New Orleans, Louisiana - a place that's just bursting with photo opportunities! With its stunning architecture and beautiful oak trees, there's simply no better place to be.

Do you offer hair and makeup?

I'm sorry, but I do not offer hair and makeup services. However, feel free to come in whatever makes you feel most comfortable and confident. You can choose to wear no makeup at all, do it yourself, or even have a professional makeup artist do it for you. It's entirely up to you!

How long does it take to receive my photos?

Typically, it takes about two weeks to edit and deliver your photos, but the exact timeline can vary depending on the complexity and scope of the shoot. I'll keep you updated throughout the process to ensure you know when to expect your final images.
